We are inviting you to apply to the School of Mediators with the Biennale of Young Art.

Participation in the studies at the School is free thanks to the support of the HBCE Grant Program.

Graduates of the School will have an internship in the exhibition spaces during the Biennale, which the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine has already named one of the three most anticipated cultural events this year:

Mediators in the gallery are a kind of intermediaries between the works and the viewer. They conduct tours and quests, help audiences learn more about artists and their work, and participate in interactive projects.

A mediator is not a strict museum supervisor whose job is only to see the order is observed, not to help the viewer, but a living person to whom a visitor is free to turn and ask any questions about the author, their work and the exhibition in general. Such communication is free and informal and it helps the viewer to better navigate what is happening.

We expect firstly students and graduates of art and cultural colleges, but there are no strict age or professional restrictions. We are confident: this may be the beginning of a new profession for someone.
